Whether you’re a seasoned skater or it’s your first time on the ice, this event is all about coming together to enjoy the winter vibes, meet new friends, and make lasting memories. Skating is a great way to stay active, have fun, and embrace the season!
Details:
• Location: Empire State Plaza Ice Rink, Albany, NY
• What to Bring: Skates (or rent them on-site for $5) and warm clothes!
This meetup is the perfect chance to connect with other members of the Girls Upstate community while having a blast on the ice. Feel free to bring a friend, and let’s skate into the new year together! We’ll be there to socialize, skate, and enjoy the chilly evening together.
Duration: Our meet up is 2 hours long, however the skating rink is open with their own hours if you would like to go at your own time. There are no physical tickets and nothing needs to be delivered or shipped. There will be no check in process at this event.

We have a no return policy, unless Girls Upstate is responsible for a cancellation or reschedule of the event/workshop etc.
If a return is given by GU because of a cancellation or reschedule as determined by GU you will need the confirmation email or proof of purchase and we will reach out to you.

When a return occurs you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Hi, I was thrilled to attend this event, as I'd missed the previous ones. However, upon arrival, I felt a bit out of place. It seemed like many attendees already knew each other, which made it challenging for newcomers like myself to connect and make new friends. Maybe because it was so cold that day made it a bit hard. I am still open to try another one of your events. XOXO.
