We have a no return policy, unless Girls Upstate is responsible for a cancellation or reschedule of the event/workshop etc.
If a return is given by GU because of a cancellation or reschedule as determined by GU you will need the confirmation email or proof of purchase and we will reach out to you.
You can always contact us for any return question at info@girlsupstate.com.
When a return occurs you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

I have a few feedbacks that I think would be helpful in improving this class and similar ones in the future:
1) the image provided showed a variegated pumpkin. I was a little disappointed when I arrived and the only option was a small solid-colored one. Was minor in the scheme of things though!
2) there was a girl at my table who came alone and I didn’t realize til the end. I thought she had come with the two girls who she was sitting near. I realized it when I noticed they weren’t including her in conversation. It might be nice in the future to have the instructor do a more deliberate seating, for example put people who don’t know anyone together so they can have people to socialize with; or maybe, to do some convo starters so people at the table feel included if they don’t know someone. I felt really bad I didn’t include her more but didn’t realize until it was too late.
3) my pumpkin got very moldy and rotted within less than a week. We had been told it would last 2-3 weeks and then we could use the dried flowers after for several years. Unfortunately, my pumpkin was so moldy that the entire stems of my flowers were also totally rotted. I am wondering if perhaps the instructor had never actually tested this type of arrangement before because the degree and speed of mold was very quick. I took pictures before throwing out my pumpkin so please reach out if you are interested in seeing the severity.
The floral arrangements were gorgeous and it as a unique way to exercise your creativity. Some feedback- it would be helpful if the facilitators provide more structure and prompts for people (especially those alone) to connect with others versus just rely on everyone to spark conversations. Secondly, I have to say, myself and several others were very disappointed with how fast the pumpkins molded. It was advertised to last up to two weeks and in less than a week, mold was growing and resulted in myself and others having to throw out our molded dried flowers, that we paid $50 for. This could have easily been avoided if there was lining such as a plastic bag or parchment paper. I’m not sure why that step was overlooked as it resulted in a beautiful creation literally being thrown out within days. I enjoyed the experience, but did not enjoy having to throw my creation out due to mold.
