About this event
What You’ll Experience:
- A guided candle-making session by Skin Deep Naturals using high-quality, natural coconut soy wax, wooden wick, and toxin-free fragrance oils.
- Customize your candle with your favorite spring scent — lavender, vanilla, coconut, citrus, essential oils, and seasonal blends.
- Learn about wax types, fragrance blending, and wick selection — all the basics to get started at home.
- We’ll explore how scent impacts mood and how candle rituals can support relaxation and mindfulness.
- A mindful self-care moment — write something you’re ready to let go of on paper, provided during the event. You’ll take it home along with your candle. When you’re ready to let go of it, safely burn when the time feels right.
You’ll Go Home With:
- One personalized 8 oz candle (plus the confidence to make more at home!)
- A symbolic release note
- New knowledge on the basics of candle-making magic

We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before an event. We understand that traffic and parking can be difficult, so allow enough time for parking.

We have a no return policy, unless Girls Upstate is responsible for a cancellation or reschedule of the event/workshop etc.
If a return is given by GU because of a cancellation or reschedule as determined by GU you will need the confirmation email or proof of purchase and we will reach out to you.
You can always contact us for any return question at info@girlsupstate.com.
When a return occurs you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
