ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE - Thursday, Feb 27th
6:00 PM TO 8:00 PM.
Join Girls Upstate at Storied Coffee & Boba, Schenectady for a night of fun and connection with your local book lovers! Meet and mingle through our love of literature together in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
What to bring:
- Bring 1 to 2 books to design. You may select an equal number of 'Blind Date with a Book' books from the pile to take home.
- Feel free to bring a favorite tea bag to add to the design, as well as stickers and bookmarks to personalize your creation and share. All necessary materials are provided: brown wrapping paper, colored construction paper, tape, scissors, pens and markers.
* Your ticket includes entry to this private event and all necessary materials to wrap your books. Drinks are not included and can be purchased separately.
Duration: This event is 2 hours long. Please, select "Delivery" or "Pick Up" at checkout. Your name will be added to our guest list. There are no physical tickets and nothing needs to be delivered or shipped. At the event, please check in with the instructor and provide your first & last name. Please refrain from bringing outside food & beverages.
Parking/Location: 123 Jay St, Schenectady, NY
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before an event. We understand that traffic and parking can be difficult, so allow enough time for parking.

Refund Policy
Reservations made within 48 hours of the scheduled class do not qualify for a credit. We offer guests full credits for cancellations made at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to their scheduled event. If a guest needs to cancel within 48 hours (2 days) of their booked class or does not make it to their class on time, a credit will not be issued. A credit must be redeemed within 60 days & only counts towards other event. Guests must email to claim & use their credit. If they do not use credit within 60 days then it is no longer valid. Please contact us with any concerns.
I haven’t had a girls night in a while, and it was so nice being able to chat with other women who love books like I do!!!
The boba was a wonderful touch too!!!
I bought a ticket to go with one of my friends. Materials were provided. It was fun, met new people, and made new friends. I would love to participate again.
I cannot even begin to express just how full my heart was after this event. A room full of strong, wonderful women who want a sense of community. I cannot wait for the next GU event!
